A number of guests added drums, bass, guitar, biwa, keyboards and synths.
Osamu Kitajima has released around twenty albums between 1972 and 2010. He is pretty big in his homeland but pretty unknown in the progressive rock community in the rest of the world.
Benzaiten clocks in at forty minutes.
The music is a blend of space rock and krautrock.
The music reminds me a lot of Amon Düül's first three albums. That means primitive, tribalistic rhythms.
There are some flutes and vocals on the top of the drums and percussion.
The music is not particular bad. I am not a fan of this kind of space rock/krautrock. This is still a decent enough album.
