The seventh and so far the last album from this band from Switzerland.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and keyboards.
The band soldiered on after a five years long album break.
Welcome To The Machine is a fifty minutes long album. The music is hard and heavy space rock. Instrumental space rock. There are some progressive metal influences throughout this album too.
The ambience and the music is also very brooding and dark. Sinister at times. Parts of the music is a bit dissonant. There is also some majestic, soaring themes here performed by the guitars.
The music is driven by electric guitars and there is some good solos here.
The result is a good album, indeed. This is not one of my favourite bands. Nevertheless, this is a good band and well worth checking out if you like heavy space rock.
