The ninth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, organs, keyboards, synths, effects and vocals.
A number of guests added flute and a full symphony orchestra.
This is the third and final album in this trilogy. I have reviewed the first two albums in this trilogy and they are good albums.
A Dark Poem Part III clocks in at forty minutes.
The music is a blend of progressive metal and art-rock.
There are also a lot of symphonic prog in the music here.
The rock parts are at times very good. At the end of this album, there is a not so interesting piece of classical music.
Green Carnation ends this trilogy on a high with this good album. This is a trilogy of albums you should check out.
