Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate - The Uncertainty Principle (2025)

The eight album from this band from Great Britain.

The band is a duo with a lineup of bass, guitars, synths, drums programming and vocals.

Two guests added flute and vocals.

The band returned after a two years album break and after doing some gigs.

The Uncertainty Principle is a one hour long album. The music is a blend of neo-prog, art-rock, electronica and eclectic prog.

The music reminds me a lot about Tim Bowness solo albums. Both he and this band is from the same scene so that is only natural.

The music is elegant, a bit eclectic & melodic. The pieces of music is indeed quirky too. The art-rock genre influences are pretty obvious throughout this album.

There is no real catchy and straight forward pieces of music here. The music is as quirky as the band name.

The quality is good though and this is another interesting album from one of the more prolific bands in the British progressive rock scene. Check it out.
