The second album from this band from Spain.
This band was a one-man-band with Kyle McNeill doing all instruments.
Kyle is originally from Manchester in Great Britain, but moved to Spain sometime before he released the Phantom Spell debut album Immortal's Requim back in 2022. That was a pretty good album as I noted in my review of it last month.
The music on this just over half an hour long album is a blend of hard rock and heavy metal. References are again Kansas, Wishbone Ash, Europe and Iron Maiden.
The music is still melodic hard rock and heavy rock with the emphasis on good melodies and hooks. There are even ballads here.
The music is pretty retro with a 1990s feel over the sound, music and vocals.
The music is also pretty good throughout this album. I believe heavy metal fans will enjoy this album a lot more than I do. Nevertheless...
2.5 points
