Lunear - There Is Always Next Time (2026)

The fifth album from this band from France.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

The band has had a very nice development during their career and it is always nice to dig into a Lunear album. The exception is that Gostraks cover album which I find difficult to find anything nice to say about.

There Is Always Next Time is clocking in at fifty-three minutes.

The music is melodic neo-prog.

The music is also bordering on soft, gentle AOR throughout the album.

The music is catchy, elegant and melodic.

The music is still pretty complex. It also has all the hallmarks of progressive rock.

This is a good album. A bit workman like but still a good album. It is an album you should check out if melodic prog is your thing.
