The debut album from this band from Austria.
This was a one-man-band on this album with Alex Mallory doing the guitars, synths and vocals here.
Two guests added drums and bass on some tracks.
Their two albums are name-your-price Bandcamp albums. I will review Limbo, their second album, sometime later this summer.
Life in an Indefinite Loop is clocking in at one hour.
The music is post-rock. Mogwai and Sigur Ros is two very good references here.
The music is.... ehh.... cinematic and laid back. Very relaxing music with some programmed strings and woodwinds on the top of some piano. The music is also very elegant and melancholic.
There are also some vocals here and they are very good.
This album is a timely reminder how good the post-rock genre can be. I am going to review the Sigur Ros albums later this year. This album serves as an appetiser.
This is indeed a very good album and one to check out.
