The second album from this band from Italy.
The band was a ten pieces big band/project with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, programming and vocals.
Not many people thought the band was going to return after their 1991 debut album Images From Floating Worlds (see my review from earlier this month). But they did that earlier this year with this three quarters of an hour long album.
The music here is a blend of musicals, RPI and symphonic prog.
There is a lot of Yes influences in their music. Ditto for PFM and Banco influences too.
The music is mid-tempo, elegant and with a lot of piano.
The vocals are both male and female. The vocals is also good. All the vocals are in English.
The music is really elegant and modern too. The music is leaning a bit too much towards musicals and rock opera territory for my liking. The music is not typical RPI and I am not so sure if this is a RPI band.
That said, this is a good album and one to check out if elegant melodic prog is your thing.
