The fourth album from this band from Japan.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, sitar, keyboards and vocals.
This is the follow up album to the 2014 album Mammatus Cloud. A good album I reviewed earlier this month.
House In The Tall Grass is clocking in at fifty minutes.
The music here is psych rock.
The band has changed the music a lot since the Mammatus Cloud album. There is hardly any sitar any longer. It has been replaced by acoustic guitars and proper vocals.
The music is much more songs based. There are a lot of folk rock influences in their psych rock too.
The music is quirky with some quirky electric and acoustic guitars. Those are good and the same goes for the vocals.
This is indeed a good album and one to check out.
