The fourth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, vibraphone, bass, guitars and saxophone.
I have had two of their albums hanging around in my record collection for ages. I reviewed the first one, their second album Chromosome Gun, some days ago and was not impressed. So I am reviewing their final album today.
The album is clocking in at forty minutes and the music is some sort of post-avant garde jazz. There is a lot of psychodelia and garage in their music too. Krautrock is probably the best label on the music here.
The music is full of dissonance. There are some tortured, screaming saxophones throughout this album.
Easy listening music, it is not.
The music is also haunting and not bad at all. There is a lot to like here.
The result is a decent album and a lot better album than I expected. If avant-garde krautrock is your thing...
