The fifth album from this band from USA.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, organ, keyboards and vocals.
Numerous guests added drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, narrations and vocals.
The band returned again with this three quarters of an hour long album after a break.
Brad Delph also returned for the final album in his lifetime. He passed on in 2007. His vocals appeared on the following album, the final Boston album, after his passing.
The music here is a blend of mainstream US rock and pop-metal. Or poodle rock as many, in a derogatory way, would label the music here.
The music is slick and commercial. The soundscape is big and bold. The descent this pretty good AOR and pomp rock band has made into the pop-metal genre is a pretty painful experience. Nevertheless, this is a (barely) decent album. It is also their worst album up to this point.
