The debut album from this band from Mexico.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, violin, keyboards and vocals.
This band has so far only released this album. I fear that this band has split up for good.
This one hour long album came to my attention through a review in ProgArchives three years ago and I got a copy of it through Bandcamp.
The music here has been labeled as Eclectic Prog in ProgArchives and I agree with that label.
The music is really eclectic with some folk rock, goth rock and jazz influences. The pretty operatic female vocals, good vocals btw, are both in English and Spanish.
The sound is a bit muddy. Ditto for the guitars which has a goth rock sound... at best. A plus for the violin who are adding a lot of colours and indeed quality to this album.
This is an interesting album and also an unusual album. The quality is somewhere between decent and good. Check out this album if eclectic prog is your thing.
