The second album from this band from Romania.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, theremin, flute, harmonica and vocals.
The band returned again the year after they released their debut album Linistea Astupa Goluri. I reviewed that album earlier this year and was not impressed. The album was suffering from a lack of good songs.
Aripi is clocking in at sixty-seven minutes.
The music here is art-rock. There are a lot of eclectic prog and post-rock influences in the music here.
The music is melancholic and pretty sombre. The music is also dynamic with some good vocals in their local tongue.
Most of the music is instrumental and it is good too. This album is an improvement on their debut album and I am looking forward to reviewing their remaining three albums.
