The 13th album from this band from Sweden.
The band was a quintet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again after a three-year-long album break.
Sky Void of Stars is clocking in at fifty minutes.
The music is again heavy alternative rock.
Anathema is a good reference.... Then again, the music here is far heavier and far less Pink Floyd'ish than the last couple of Anathema albums.
The music is melodic with a lot of good guitars.
The big and bold vocal harmonies is the main difference between this album and the previous albums. There is also a lot of guitar harmonies here.
The music is good throughout this album.
This is another good album from this band and this band has gradually been growing on me. A review of their latest album will follow this weekend.
