Tumbleweed Dealer - Dark Green (2025)

The third album from this band from USA.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, synths and programming.

A handful of guests added organ, church organs, mellotron, keyboards, woodwinds and vocals.

This album is a forty minutes long album.

I have been very critical of their first two album which contains primitive, unimaginative space rock. So had no expectations to this album.

The band has expanded their lineup and guests list. That means a lot more elaborated music too.

Space rock is what we get here... in the beginning. Space rock with some synths and programming too in addition to the guitars.

Then we get some rap and vocals. That in addition to some more jazz at the end.

The result is a pretty clever, good album. I hope the band continues down the same path in the future and also writes some better music. The band should build on what they have done on this album.
