Fruteria Toni - El Porvenir Está En Las Huevas (2020)

The third album from this band from Spain.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, violin, piano, keyboards, clarinet, saxophone and vocals.

A handful of guests added bass clarinet, flute and vocals.

First of all, I love the weird album art-work.....

This forty minutes long album is their so far latest album. I really hope they will re-emerge one day as they are a seriously good band.

The music is eclectic prog with a lot of Spanish folk rock and in particular... jazz influences.

The vocals are in Spanish and they are all very good. There are a lot of saxophones and keyboards here. There are no guitars here whatsoever.

The music is dynamic, mid-tempo and full of interesting details.

This band has become better and better by each album. This album is their best album and a very good album indeed. This is an album you should check out at their Bandcamp site.
