The second album from this band from Italy.
The band was a quintet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again five years after their decent enough 2009 debut album. Italic is the last sign of life from this band so far and I fear that they have split up.
Italic clocks in at just over one hour.
The music is progressive metal.
The music is pretty hard throughout with some strong djent influences and chugging guitars.
There are still some orchestral arrangements here on the top of the guitars. There is a lot of synths here, in other words.
The female vocals are really harsh and pretty brutal throughout this album.
There are also a lot of melodic pieces here with some harmonies.
The quality is pretty good throughout. The music is a bit too run-of-the-mill to really stand out. Hence....
